The December sun slowly fell over the red rocks in Sedona as Elizabeth and Brandon embraced each other. The temperature had a noticeable drop and for these Arizonans it should have been cold, but wrapped up in each other they were warm. It was quiet yet powerful, always hold your loved ones tight and never let go. These Sedona engagement photos are not a formality because of their soon to be nuptials, but they are to show the generations to come the legacy of love they will be passing down. The time when they are young, vibrant, and the beginning of their love story.
Brandon is a true gentleman and this couldn’t be shown more than how he proposed to Elizabeth. He took the time and consideration to ask permission from her two teenage kids if he could marry their mother. Obviously the answer was “yes”! It is a true representation of his character and love for Elizabeth.
They met just over three years ago when she spotted him at work as a vendor. Now Elizabeth is not one to enjoy being the center of attention and is a bit shy so she asked this cute guy out on a group date. He said yes, and after that day he asked her out again. Ever since they have been inseparable.
For their three year anniversary of being together they celebrated at the Biltmore, a favorite getaway in Phoenix. Brandon being the caring guy, knew that she did not want all eyes on her for his proposal, so he caught her completely by surprise as he asked her to be his bride in their suite.
We first met Elizabeth and Brandon through the help of her sweet sister Ruth. With the wedding approaching fast Elizabeth got a helping hand from her sister to help look for a photographer. Ruth got to work immediately as she has a love for photography herself. She took to Instagram and stumbled upon us and reached out to us herself. Thank you for finding us in the giant world of social media!
She had told us on our initial video call that if she could she would have fresh flowers in her house every day. So, on our way to meet Elizabeth and Brandon in Sedona we made a quick stop by the grocery store and hand picked several bunches of flowers. The kind store employee tied a beautiful yellow flowing ribbon to it, her favorite color.
Our time together on those Sedona red rocks was full of laughter and intimate moments. As we turned the corner of Baby Bell Rock the vast landscape opened up in front of them. It stops everyone in their tracks. They stood there for a moment and just took it all in. Sedona has a reputation of taking people’s breath away and this spot does it every time.
These two love to be in each others arms.
Elizabeth and Brandon we had a lovely time getting to know you two better during your Bell Rock engagement photos and we can’t wait to be there for you on your wedding day next month at the beautiful Orange Tree Resort.
