While we walked the well groomed paths of Scottsdale Civic Park with Sara and Eloy an unforgettable thing happened. It couldn’t have been planned but only destined to happened, just like their love. How can a couple’s first married moments get any more romantic and heartfelt? When a kind street musician sitting on a bench playing the trumpet offers to play a song for them. He raised his instrument and began to perform Only You by The Platters. A classic. They had their first dance as newlyweds in the golden light of the sunset. To the tune of a strangers gift. And happy tears welled up. They were finally married. It was a beautiful reminder of how a random act of kindness can be so prominent and will be remembered forever.
We first met Sara and Eloy back in 2017 at James & Chelsea’s Wedding at Whispering Tree Ranch. Sara was a bridesmaid and was just as sweet as can be and ALWAYS camera ready. She is joyful and gracious for the love surrounding her. Eloy brings a calming vibe to everyone around with his patience and consideration. They are not only married but best friends too. Something that we value deeply and can relate to, they do everything together just like us.
Sara and Eloy have been a long time in the making and ultimately destined to be together forever. Life made sure that these two kind souls were going to get married. Back in 2012 they both worked at a small insurance company in Casa Grande and started flirting a few years after that. As life happens and things come up, they ventured on their own separate paths, but unknowingly it was temporary. Eloy moved to Phoenix while Sara stayed in her beloved home of Casa Grande.
Her mother soon convinced her that sometimes change is good and to apply at an insurance company in Phoenix. Well, she got the job! And after many months of long commutes she took the jump and moved to Phoenix. But she only knew one person in that big city, Eloy. So she text him and after several days he text back asking where she worked? And low and behold they just so happened to work in the same exact building as each other just floors apart! Life just kept bringing these two together.
Sara has jokingly named Eloy the unstoppable force because of how persistent he was to gain her affection in those first few months in Phoenix. She was just not in a place for anything serious. Hence her nickname of “the unmovable object”. Finally on New Year’s Eve she came the resolution that she wanted to take the next step and be his girlfriend. Ever since they have been inseparable. They do everything together and that is the sweetest thing.
Sara and Eloy had a beautiful intimate wedding with family standing close by. They are a true #copperhillcouple with their gracious demeanors and trusting us in finding the beautiful glowy Arizona light. We had been scouting the Scottsdale wedding locations for some time now and when it came up that they wanted an intimate wedding in a beautiful spot we knew of just the right location for them. With the curved paths, palm trees, white walls it made for an upscale desert chic look. Thank you for trusting us! Also we’ve gotta take a moment to talk about that gorgeous bouquet, holy cow. That is a piece of art itself! Good thing Sara has been working out leading up to the wedding because that bouquet had some heft to it.
Sara and Eloy, Congratulations on tying the knot and Thank your for trusting us with so much of your big day! May you always be light each other up the way you did on your wedding day! Cheers to a lifetime of happiness and doing everything together with So. Much. Joy!
